Port Angeles Agent Brian Benzler passed away on February 24, 2023, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Brian was surrounded by his family and loved ones at the time of his passing.
Brian entered on duty with the United States Border Patrol at the Tucson Station on June 2, 2002, with class 513. Brian and his family transferred to the Port Angeles Station in June 2008. Brian served as a K-9 handler for many years with his K-9 partners Rony, Ulk and Kevin.
Brian was highly respected and loved by his supervisors, peers and family.
Brian is survived by his wife, Marife, their three children, his mother Cathy and a host of family and friends.
Brian loved God, Family and country.
The funeral services will be held on Friday, March 10 at 11:30am at the Faith Lutheran Church, Sequim, WA. The procession will start at 1:00 pm and depart for Sequim View Cemetary.
